When you can cancel an order yourself, and what happens to your money when you do.
Before you pay
An order that hasn’t been paid for can be cancelled from its order page – nothing has been charged, and pieces held for you in checkout are released straight away. The one exception is while a payment for it is still being confirmed: wait for that to finish, so you aren’t charged for an order you cancelled.
After you pay
You can cancel a paid order yourself until it has been packed.
Your order page shows whether it can still be cancelled. Once an order has been packed, it can no longer be cancelled online.
How to cancel
- Open My Orders and choose the order.
- Select Cancel order and confirm.
The whole order is cancelled – single items can’t be cancelled on their own.
Your refund
Cancelling a paid order refunds everything you paid, including delivery, to the payment method you used. The refund is started automatically when you cancel; your order page shows its progress. How long it takes to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider.
If the refund can’t be started at that moment, the order isn’t cancelled – you’ll be told on the spot, and can try again or contact us.
